JESSI COLLINS, LCSW-C
Jessi believes that clarifying a person's core values and developing psychological flexibility is key to increasing feelings of well-being and establishing healthy, committed behaviors. By fostering an empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, Jessi works with clients to develop and achieve meaningful personal goals. Since 2009, she has provided outpatient psychotherapy to adults, seniors, and transitional-age youth (ages 16-24). Jessi utilizes concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused treatment to help clients get "unstuck." She has clinical experience with depression, anxiety, bipolar and mood disorders, anger management, grief/loss, family relationship conflicts, stress management, low self-esteem, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders. Jessi has worked extensively with individuals affected by domestic violence, persons with legal backgrounds, those struggling with substance abuse, and older adults with chronic medical issues.
