Jessi believes that clarifying a person's core values and developing psychological flexibility is key to increasing feelings of well-being and establishing healthy, committed behaviors. By fostering an empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, Jessi works with clients to develop and achieve meaningful personal goals. Since 2009, she has provided outpatient psychotherapy to adults, seniors, and transitional-age youth (ages 16-24). Jessi utilizes concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused treatment to help clients get "unstuck." She has clinical experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar and mood disorders, anger management, grief/loss, family relationship conflicts, stress management, increasing self-compassion and self-worth, as well as schizophrenia and psychotic disorders. Jessi has worked extensively with individuals affected by domestic violence, persons with legal backgrounds, and older adults with chronic medical issues.
Jessi also currently serves as a clinical supervisor for part-time clinicians at Baltimore Washington Counseling Center and has been providing clinical supervision to graduate-licensed therapists since 2014.
