The purpose of therapy is to help you bring what you learn in session back into your life. Therapy can help provide some much needed support and help with skills to get you through difficult periods. Therapy can give you the opportunity to learn more about yourself and be more effective with your goals in life. Erin approaches therapy with an openness to the process and a conviction that change is possible. She works with people struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and general life stress. Erin has experience with clients diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, and Psychotic Disorders, including Schizophrenia. She works with victims of trauma, victims of child abuse and neglect, and victims or witnesses of intimate partner violence. Erin also works with members of the LGBTQ community as well as people in non-traditional romantic relationships. She uses an eclectic approach including some elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, and Solution-Focused Treatment.
Erin is open-minded and non-judgmental with her clients. She loves Baltimore, knitting, music, and delicious cheese.
