Amy Smith, LCSW-C
Director of Internship Program
Amy Smith has been working in the social work profession since 2004 in a variety of settings but she is really drawn to providing therapy services in an outpatient mental setting that cultivates a safe place for individuals, families, and couples to work towards being the best version of themselves.
As Clinical Director, Amy enjoys working with a team of therapists that genuinely invest in the emotional well being of their clients. As Director of the Internship Program, Amy thrives from not only teaching those ‘up and coming’ in the profession but seeking value in what she learns from interns who have provided invaluable service during their placement.
Amy’s professional background experience has focused on servicing a wide variety of clients due to her experience in working with day programs, outpatient clinics, and treatment foster care. In addition, Amy is proficient in Sign Language and specializes in working with the Deaf community.
