Christine Rykiel, LCSW-C started this practice in 2007 with the goal of providing quality, affordable psychotherapy services that are focused on promoting client-centered, goal oriented counseling that enhances and develops client strengths. She provides counseling services to children, adolescents and adults. Christine has been working in private practice since 1999. She possesses a unique ability to work specifically with individuals with developmental disabilities.  Christine primarily utilizes cognitive-behavior based therapy techniques in her practice with her patients.

Abbey Kane, Receptionist

Abbey is currently enrolled at Anne Arundel Community College and is majoring in nutrition, with her goal to one day become a registered dietitian. She hopes to transfer to a four-year school to continue working on her nutrition path. Abbey has worked at BWCC for two years and is very helpful with clients at the front desk, always willing to go above and beyond for others. Abbey's hobbies include playing sports, attending church, and going to the beach.

Brad Pagan, Billing Specialist

Brad began working at BWCC in October 2013.  Brad handles all of the billing for the practice including insurance claim billing and posting of payments from patients and insurance payors.  Brad graduated from the University of Maryland with his B.A. in Psychology in 2013.  Brad’s interests include sports, especially baseball.

Lisa Kane, Office Manager

Lisa is in charge of all the new client scheduling and is always happy to help clients find the right therapist, day, and time to come in. She works hard to keep waiting lists short so that clients do not have to wait lengthy periods of time before they see a therapist. Lisa deals extensively with the insurance companies to help determine what each client’s benefits cover for therapy services.

Elizabeth Cush, LGPC

Meghan Cole, Receptionist

Meghan has a passion for helping others and is in the process of studying to become a social worker and hopes to also reach her goal in being able to learn and communicate through sign language. One day she would like to incorporate pet therapy into future counseling. She enjoys being a part of her home church and worship team, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Kalyn Davis, receptionist

Kalyn is a graduate of North County High School and currently works as a receptionist at BWCC and as a supervisor at Aldi. She is very dedicated to her work and enjoys conversations with everyone she meets. She loves animals, especially penguins. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Rebekah Schramm, Administrative Assistant

Rebekah was born and raised locally in Crofton, MD. She attended South River High School where, during her senior year, she completed several college courses at Anne Arundel Community College through the high school’s Jump Start program. After high school she began working full-time while earning an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Anne Arundel Community College. After having jobs in the customer service field, she moved into a receptionist role at Annapolis Christian Counseling Center. Using that experience, she was able to move to the receptionist position at Baltimore Washington Counseling Center and was quickly promoted to Administrative Assistant.
